Pharmacodynamics: This product has a therapeutic effect on Gram-positive bacteria, Gram-negative bacteria, mycoplasma, and so on. As far as antibacterial spectrum and activity is concerned, it is better than Chloramphenicol and Thiamphenicol. This product only being used for cattle abroad, with regard to MIC50 and MIC50, bovine respiratory pathogenic bacteria are ; Pasteurella haemolytica are 0.5 and 1.0; Pasteurella multocida are 0.5 and 0.5; Haemophilus lethargy are 0.25 and 0.5; the MIC of Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae for swine is 0.2-1.56μg/ml; the MIC of Shigella Dysenteriae resisting Chloramphenicol and Thiamphenicol, Eberth bacillus, Klebsiella pneumonia, E coli and Hemophilus influenza are all 0.5μg/ml2. Pharmacokinetics: This product could be absorpted rapidly by oral administration and intramuscular injection. It possessed long half life period and high blood drug level, which could maintain blood drug level for long time. The average level is 0.19μg/ml, after 60h of the intramuscular injection to most calf. When the serum level is 0.5, 3.0 and 16.0μg/ml, Its corresponding protein binding rate is 12.7, 13.2 and 18.3%.This product is fit to oral administration, which could be adopted completely for pig even though feeding. It may be adopted through the hepatoenteral circulation because of high level in bile and high oral availability. Its major excretion pathway is kidney excretion, 50% and 65% percent of active compound is run off though urine corresponding to intravenous injection and oral administration.Indication: As an antibacterial agent, it is effective on the treatment of bovine respiratory disease caused by Pasteurella and Haemophilus, bovine rotten foot disease caused by Fusobacterium, as well as swine, chicken and fish bacteriosis.Usage and dosage: Made into preparation. Oral administration. By effective ingredient: 20-30mg/kg body weight for swine and chicken, twice a day for 3-5 days.
